Upward Bound University of Maine Upward Bound is an educational program designed to help low income high school students enter postsecondary school. We hire energetic, dedicated, responsible people who have at least three years of college experience or a college degree. The rewards of working for Upward Bound include professional training and experience, personal growth, and the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped many disadvantaged adolescents become better prepared to face future challenges. Our program is designed around an integrated curriculum and residential life experience using a team approach. Applicants are considered on a rolling basis, and applicants will be interviewed and hired on a rolling basis. We strongly urge all UMaine students to apply for Summer Work-Study; receiving Work-Study may increase your chances of being considered for a position.
