- News flash: Congratulations to the UMaine Cybersecurity Team for placing second in the 2010 Northeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. Details to follow. See also the article in the Bangor Daily News.
- In February, the department celebrated Black History Month by hosting
noted mathematician Dr. Jonathan Farley as the
2009-2010 Visiting Libra Diversity Professor.
All this month, Dr. Farley presented numerous seminars on diverse topics.
